Vintage Fenton Hobnail Heavy Tall Ruffled 7 1/2 Inch Milk Glass Vase. This is a beautiful piece! Fenton Glass was established in 1905 by Frank and John Fenton in Martin's Ferry, Ohio, the earliest pieces were hand painted on blanks from other glass companies. Unable to get the quantity of glass they needed, they decided to make their own glass and 1907 the opened there own glass factory in Williamstown, West Virginia.

The Hobnail line was one of the most popular patterns that Fenton produced, made from 1948 to 1989. This vase is an early pre logo piece, excellent quality. It has the all over Hobnail pattern, is 7 1/2" tall and 6 1/2" across the top. Fenton began marking their pieces with the Fenton logo, this is unmarked piece, one of the earlier pieces before they started using the Fenton logo, a very heavy piece probably from the 1948 era.
