Vintage Fenton Glass Milk Glass Old Fashioned Shoe or Slipper. Fenton Glass was established in 1905 by Frank and John Fenton in Martin's Ferry, Ohio, their earliest pieces were hand painted on blanks from other glass companies. Unable to get the quantity of glass they needed, they decided to make their own glass and 1907 the opened their own glass factory in Williamstown, West Virginia. For 102 years, pieces made prior to 1973 are not marked with the Fenton Logo. Fenton has hand crafted some of our loveliest American collectible art glass and continues to be a family run business. This is an earlier unmarked piece. This is a lovely piece in the shape of an old fashioned shoe, it is about 4 1/2" long by about 2 1/4" tall. It is in excellent condition, no chips, it would be a lovely addition to your collection! Shipping is less for combined purchases then the above quoted individual cost per item combined and will be adjusted after your order is placed. Please see our other listings for additional vintage Fenton pieces.
