Featured for your enjoyment is a wonderful piece of hand work. It is made on a cotton cloth with a lovely fringed edge. It is flowers in a circle, sort of pinwheel flowers. The pillow area has swag of flowers. I did notice one light mark on the back, very tiny too. I have not washed it as it has never been used and I do believe it will come right out. You This old bed cover was made by a lady who had planned on making a hope chest for each grandchild. On her passing her daughter took possession of her home and left everything in the trunks she had so painstakingly collected. Only after this daughters death where these discovered. It has never seen the light of day until about a week ago. Fits a double bed perfectly but could also be used on a queen. Measures 90 by 88 including fringe.
