It comes from the 1950s and has a cemented base. It was created by the Elgin Silver Company of New York, NY, USA. It measures 5-1/2” from the top of the handle to the table top and 7” across. It is a beautiful piece that has minor signs of wear, as all vintage pieces tend to have. If you can picture it on a side buffet table with candies or nuts in it the next time you have company you wish to impress, then we think you’re ready to own it.
