This dressing table vanity is unique. The vanity is topped with a shield shaped mirror hung between two small cabinets with floral scenes hand painted on each door. There are shelves for storage in each cabinet. A pair of serpentine drawers with metal knob pulls supports each cabinet. There are a total of 5 small drawers on the vanity topper, each one lined with brown velvet fabric. The top left set of drawers has a chip in the paint on the front edge and a gash in the paint that is chipped. Be sure to check out the photos below. There are some small chips in the paint on the right side drawers as well. The base dresser has 3 drawers in the apron area, two of them are bow front drawers. These drawers have metal teardrop pulls. Below the center drawer attached to the top of the “X” style stretcher sits a lidded box that is hand decorated as well. The turned legs have been painted and decorated with vines and gold rings of paint accenting each turn. This piece is in nice condition and is a very rare, unique piece. I do not know the maker or exact date it was made. This piece is vintage and will not be perfect. This vanity measures 69 1/8 inches tall, 42 ¼ inches side to side and 20¼ inches front to back. It weighs 103 pounds.
