An amazing Dutch Marquetry bureau bookcase, in 18th Century style, but Circa 1920 in date.

It has been made from the finest burr walnut with fabulous floral marquetry decoration made from various exotic veneers as well as mother of pearl.

The top has two doors with marquetry panels which open to reveal two shelves, which are fully adjustable.

The base has four deep drawers, very useful for storage. They are all oak lined. The bureau fall can be lowered for use as a desk and the interior has seven small drawers and a small cupboard for storing pens, papers, etc. It has green leather writing surfaces with blind tooling.

It has it's original ormolu handles and locks.

It is ready to grace one of your rooms in your house and is in fully restored condition.
