Vintage DECO Signed Queens jewels Parure
These stones are really rare and if you hold them to the light they change from Purple to blue to magenta and they sparkle like they have a fire under them. These aren't aurora borealis coated, the color comes from within. ( I have more closeups if you want to email me for them) These are called czech sugar stones ( I guess because they are bumpy?)and are fit for a QUEEN! . Set in Edwardian settings with lots of tiny seed pearls that frame these fabulous cabachons, this set is one of the finest I have sold and is even more amazing in person. The thickness of the settings, the rich metal work and the golden hue of vintage gilt patina all set in filigree settings just makes this a piece that should be in a museum. REALLY gorgeous and truly something you may never see another of. I am so glad this is in such great shape with all the pieces that make it up . The bracelet is signed Germany Us Zone ( dates in the 1945 and 1955 era or WW11) and the earrings are not signed. US Zone Germany was one of the four zones Germany was divided into at the end of World War II, when it was occupied by the United States. During this post-war time, German manufacturers were banned from exporting goods, although American authorities allowed the sale of certain commodities, but only if labeled Made in US Zone Germany. The victorian / deco drops on these earrings are to die for! Absolutely magnificent these can be worn with or without this tremendous bracelet. They measure 2 1/4 long and are open backed. This is the piece that will impress and bring out envy from all your friends! The bracelet is 7 1/4" long x 1 1/3" wide. Vintage and antique items are not mint nor are they perfect. Sold as is and as found (used and vintage) Since this is Irreplaceable there can be no returns on this sale.. Please use photos to make your decisions. Remember that old glue and hot post offices may cause some stones in vintage pieces to loosen in shipping."jewels" in costume jewelry are usually glass or rhinestones.
