Vintage Corning Ware Rosemarie 2 Quart Covered Casserole Glass Cookware, Go Green! Go Green with Corning Ware, you can bake, serve and store leftovers all in one dish, then reheat leftovers in the same dish! This pattern was made by Corning Ware in 1995 and features a pink colored floral pattern, it is made of pyroceram. Pyroceram was invented in the late 1950's and is a special mixture of glass and crystalline ceramic that Corning Ware holds the patent on, it is made to withstand both heat and cold. Several years ago Corning Ware was purchased by a Chinese company, although they have offices in the USA, the few pieces of the Blue Cornflower pattern they make is now made in China and is not made of pyroceram like the earlier pieces, newer pieces are marked Made in China and are made of a ceramic material. This casserole is a hard to find piece, holds 2 quarts, is 8 1/2 inches across by 10 1/4 inches including the handles and about 2 1/2 inches deep. Both pieces are in excellent gently used condition, no chips, clean and ready to use. It would be a wonderful addition to your set! Please see our other listings for additional pieces in this pattern! Shipping is less for combined purchases then the above quoted individual cost per item combined and will be adjusted after your order is placed.
