Vintage Corning Ware White Coupe 6 Cup Teapot, #P-104. Corning Ware was first produced in 1957, it is made of a special material called Pyroceram. Pyroceram was invented in the late 1950's and is a special mixture of glass and crystalline ceramic that Corning Ware holds the patent on, it is made to withstand both heat and cold.
This teapot is the White Coupe pattern, it was introduced in 1960, the White Coupe pattern has a pattern is a solid white with black handle. This teapot is the medium size, it holds six cups, p-104 and has the metal lid. It is made of the original pyroceram material and is clean and ready to use, Corning no longer produces the original pyroceram, this piece is one of the original pieces.
It is 5" tall to the top of the handle, is in excellent condition, no chips. It would be a wonderful addition to your set or perfect for everyday use or a perfect addition to your Corning Ware Set!
