Vintage Corning Ware French White Pyroceram Round 2.5 Liter Casserole #F-1-B. Go Green with Corning Ware, you can bake, serve and store leftovers all in one dish, then reheat leftovers in the same dish! This pattern has was only made for a short period of time, it features a paneled pattern edge, it is made of pyroceram. Pyroceram was invented in the late 1950's and is made to withstand both heat and cold. Several years ago Corning Ware was purchased by a Chinese company, although they have offices in the USA this line is now made in China and is not made of pyroceram like the earlier pieces, newer pieces are marked Made in China and are made of a ceramic material.
This casserole is the original Corning pyroceram, it holds 2.5 liter, is 8 3/4" across and 3 1/2" deep. It is in lovely gently used clean condition, no chips, has some light signs of use on the base, comes with the original lid. It would be a fabulous addition to your set!
