Several years ago Corning Ware was purchased by a Chinese company, although they have offices in the USA Corning products are now made in China and although this pattern is no longer made, the few pieces they now produce in the Blue Cornflower pattern are not made of pyroceram like the earlier pieces. Newer pieces are marked Made in China and are made of a ceramic material.
