Vintage Cooper "Frying Pan" Kitchen Thermometer
Vintage Cooper thermometer for the kitchen, in the shape of a frying pan. This interesting little thermometer is made from steel, shaped like a frying pan, and is coated in black. The thermometer can be hung on a wall or it can lie flat on a table or shelf. It indicates temperatures from minus 40 degrees Farenheit to 120 degrees Farenheit. Two images are engraved near the bottom of the frying pan. One is a scene depicting a snow skier; the other depicts palm trees and a large sun. The center of the thermometer, which encloses the dial, is an amber plastic. Temperature gradations are are clearly marked, and labeled ZERO, FRZ, and IDEAL. Below the dial is PAT APPL'D FOR, MADE IN PEQUABUCK, CONN. U.S.A. The thermometer is in good to very good condition for its age. There is light to moderate surface wear.
