This unsigned North Carolina art pottery vase was probably made by Arthur Ray Cole. The 8-3/4" tall wheel thrown vase has a rutile crystalline rustic glaze. Unknown exact age; I would guess the age in the 1940's from the previous owner. Red clay body with stilt marks are shown in photo of the bottom. Decorative ring lug handles on the top sides. Good condition with typical uneven coloring; Bo chips or cracks. A nice old North Carolina piece of art pottery.
