Vintage Chinese Porcelain Dish w/Cover

Vintage Chinese Porcelain   Beautiful bright yelIow color.  I  apologize for the description, it's really to small for a dish.  I'm just not certain what is was used for.   I did find 1 like this in  a different color & it was listed as a toothpick holder.   That just didn't seem right.   I would really appreciate any information on this piece.  My research didn't turn up much.   This piece is small and tall with a cover that is almost the same size as the base.  There is a symbol on the top & on each side.  It also has a hallmark on the bottom.   You can see the top & bottom in picture #3.  No Damages.   It is 4 " tall.
