7 hand carved Queen Nefertiti heads hang from hand carved bone or ivory beads to form a festoon effect. Her death, still a mystery to this day ,finishes off a very interesting history of her reign. At one point she was almost an equal to the Pharaoh. After Cleopatra she is the second most famous "Queen" of Ancient Egypt. The heads on this necklace measure 1 1/2" long and the beads are 1/2" long and 1/4" wide. The necklace measures 17 3/4" long.
