This is the saucer in the Colonial shape with the Petunia (a.k.a. Laurel Wreath) pattern in the myriad of Blue Ridge dinnerware lines made by Southern Potteries, Inc. It is in very good condition with no chips or repairs and it has good paint and detail of the Petunia or Laurel Wreath design. There are a few insignificant scratches from use and stacking and a couple very minor molding imperfections, tiny bumps of extra pottery. Southern began their hand painted Blue Ridge dinnerware lines in the late 1930's and closed in January of 1957. This saucer has the linear Blue Ridge Hand Painted Underglaze Southern Potteries, Inc. Made In U.S.A. mark on the bottom (see photos) and is 5 7/8" in diameter.
