This is the 9 1/4" dinner plate in the Candlewick shape with the Dahlia pattern in the myriad of Blue Ridge dinnerware lines made by Southern Potteries, Inc. It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or repairs and it has good paint and detail of the Dahlia design. There is an insignificant scratch or two from use and stacking. Southern began their hand painted Blue Ridge dinnerware lines in the late 1930's and closed in January of 1957. This plate has the linear Blue Ridge Hand Painted Underglaze Southern Potteries, Inc. Made In U.S.A. mark on the bottom (see photos) and is 9 1/4" in diameter.
