Vintage Black Lacquer Square Coffee or Cocktail Table

This large, square black lacquered coffee or cocktail table dates from the mid to late 20th century. Possibly a design by Karl Springer, and if not, certainly consistent with his style. Measures 48" square and is 16" high. Structurally sound. Black lacquer finish has a nice crackled surface that adds to the piece's vintage charm. There is an old water stain from a large pot or pitcher, but this area was lacquered over in a refinishing. A little dusty and dirty, but otherwise in good condition. This item is currently in storage in Bronx NY 10452.
