BEAUTIFUL  Vintage early Bauer Art Pottery steamship vase by "Matt Carlton".  Bulbulous shape.  Swirled satin glaze finish in ivory, pink, yellow & green.  It has a green gloss glaze interior.  Matt or Matterson Carlton joined Bauer Pottery in 1915 and his pottery is very desirable.    There are vase's by Carlton in the Collector's Encyclopedia of Bauer Pottery with this shape & several painted swirl vases.   5 " tall & 4 3/4 " across it's widest area.
