Vintage AUSTRO HUNGARIAN Jeweled Necklace

What a beauty this is!! Austro Hungarian pieces are a continuation of Renaissance design and sometimes called "Neo-Renaissance" This one has enamel and rhinestones and an amazingly huge open back amber faceted center stones. Notice the top and bottom green stones that are set into a raised dome setting of brass with tiny red enamel on the metal layered beading. The rich repousse work all around the center stone is solid and there are four tiny deep red rhinestone accents on the top and bottom. The pendant it 2” long ( includes the hanger bar) and the glass faceted fiery czech amber color beads are 17” long around the neck. This has its original clasp ( is dark with patina) and it is a filigree slide in type. The necklace is a collectors dream and is even nicer than the photos.Vintage and antique items are not mint nor are they perfect.
