Vintage Art Deco Ring sterling mother of pearl and marcasite with unusual shape stone

Unavailable

This ring dates from the 20‘s and was an heirloom piece from an estate in NY. The family had two daughters and I was able to purchse both rings ( see other listing). The sisters have since passed but I was told they always wore these on every special occasion. . When all the family members were deceased the estate was sold and I purchased some of the pieces. This is one of them. IT IS ORIGINAL and old. This has a mother of pearl arched stone center with a wrapped layer of sterling and marcasites . You don‘t see rings like this very often and most times they sell for hundreds and hundreds of dollars. This has quality workmanship and is for the high end collector. The setting is 1" long and the ring is a size 10 with very good weight to it. Could easily be sized with all the silver that is in it. The setting is to die for and is raised up with the center being a pointed marcasite. This is a stunning piece and has considerable value.
