Vintage / antique ivory-colored celluloid bangle bracelet, with three dimensional floral design. Celluloid is an early plastic, first produced in 1856, that is easily molded and shaped, and was used as a substitute for ivory. Lots of celluloid jewelry was produced during the Victorian, Art Nouveau, and Art Deco periods. This not quite round bracelet has a really nice width, about a half inch, and has a 2.5 inch opening for the wrist. Condition is very good. The bracelet has a nice creamy color with an occasional dark speck. Shipping / insurance / packaging is estimated to be $8.00.
