Vintage Amethyst necklace Bohemian glass necklace beautiful etchings on czech beads

 

You won't find czech pieces like this anymore because most people collect and keep them. Pressed molded glass like this was done in Gablonz and the process was very time consuming. Each piece was made to look like it was  hand etched. These are lilac purple with the etchings on both sides ( this was a more complicated process than one sided molds). THe necklace is all original and the largest  bead is almost 1" x a little over 1/2" wide. Each is 1/4" thick. The necklace measures up to 21" long ( it has a brass extender). There are a total of 11 glass beads in different shapes and sizes. This is heavy and well made and a real museum piece.
