Amber Tiara Sandwich Indiana Glass Deviled Egg Plate. This line of glass was made by Indiana Glass Company in the 1980's for Tiara and was marketed exclusively by Tiara, the official name for it is Early American #170, however most people refer to it as Sandwich Glass. The sandwich pattern was produced by many other glass companies and one of the most popular patterns produced in the Depression era and in the 1960's to 1980's period.
The deviled egg plate is 12 inches across, holds twelve eggs and has a round center to put condiments in as well as spaces long the edge for additional eggs or condiments. It is in excellent condition, no chips and no signs of wear, but does have a tiny fleabite to the one of the points on the edge. A great addition to your set or a the perfect accessory to your table setting. Please see our other listings for additional pieces in this pattern.
