Vintage 1971 Ceramic Buffalo / Bison Figurine Presentation Piece

Unavailable
Vintage ceramic American buffalo / bison presentation gift presented in appreciation by the Manitoba Dairy Association in 1971. This figurine, measuring about 8.75 inches high, depicts a bull animal on an oval base encircled with a vine design. The piece has a glossy brown glaze except for realistic looking horns and a dark brown/black lava-like finish for the bison's shaggy fur and mane. Written in gold on the base is "Presented to Clinton E. Meadown, In appreciation, Manitoba Diary Association, 1971." "Ceramics by DES" is inscribed on the slightly concave bottom. This piece captures the strength and majesty of the American buffalo. It is in very good condition, with no apparent chips or cracks, and very little surface wear. Please refer to the four photographs for appearance and condition. Shipping / packaging will be $11.00.
