This "Aerial Pioneers Famous Firsts" color foil-etch print portfolio was produced by Brown and Bigelow in the 1970's. The set contains four different color foil-etch prints of the following planes:
Gee Bee Racer - set early speed records in the 1930's
Ford Tri-Motor - famous for its reliability as a cargo plane
China Clipper - first regular airmail flight across the Pacific in 1935
Douglas DC-3 - by 1938 it became the chief plane of major airlines
The color foil-etch prints are approximately 10 inches wide x 8 inches high and come in their original folder. This Aerial Pioneers print portfolio is in brand new, never used, mint condition and is another one of the tens of thousands of vintage Brown and Bigelow prints and print portfolios we have in stock.
