Vintage 1961 French Style CONTESSA PHONE New York United States Telephone Co. It is in very good condition. The brass pieces have developed a nice old patina. The housing is in excellent condition. ( somewhat dusty at the time of photographing). The phone cord has been cut so I have not been able to test it out. Bottom reads: THIS HOUSING CONFORMS TO DRAWING B-696501, F-56660. (GOLD) NEW YORK TELEPHONE COMPANY N0.205--ZL2-58 CONTESSA--US-5 United States Telephone Company MFG. DATE 8-61 SER.NO. 10116 PATENT PENDING MADE IN JAPAN. Phone is in Very Good to Excellent vintage condition.
