This rare vintage Triple Crown Winner Citation award was produced in 1948. It features 1948 Triple Crown winner “Citation” and says Presented to “Pace Setter” whose Championship Performance led the field and below that it says STORES DIVISION – MCMILLEN FEED MILLS along with the company’s founder and Chairman D.W. McMillen’s signature embossed in gold. The entire frame is made of solid black walnut with the award made of leather with some parts embossed along with an embossed gold border. Its approximate dimensions are 10 ½” x 12 ½” and ¾” thick. This extremely rare, one of a kind Citation award is in excellent condition and we were completely stunned in finding it!
