Rare and exceptional are just some words that come to mind when you see this mid Victorian locket in person. The blue is almost electric and the center piece with the seed pearls is just part of the intricate work on this beautiful piece.. You can tell this is hand wrought because the lock that holds it together is on the outside and is really unusual. This has enamel on both sides and it measures 1 ½" long ( with bale) . Enamel is not perfect but as you can see it is not something that would deter you from it. Mostly it is flea bites near the edge with no scratches.
