Vintage, Dugan Amethyst, Carnival Glass (Victorian) Bowl
This Dugan Victorian bowl is a massive 11 3/4" wide. It has 8 deep ruffles and super color from side to side with no fade out.This pattern by Dugan is one of their finest. They are much sought after but rarely found. The pattern is only found on this one size bowl. It can have several ruffle treatments but the just round Ice Cream Shape being the rarest. The pattern is one of the most awesome, eye stimulating, sensual pleasing patterns that can be found in carnival glass. Although it has been given the name Victorian, it reminds me of the Quilt pattern "DOUBLE WEDDING RING" however, what ever the name it is one fantastic pattern produced by Dugan.
