Rare  VINCENZO PINTO of  VIETRE Italy  Hand painted footed compote.    The hand painted floral motif is exquisite  It is from a  19th Century  pottery in Vietre Italy.    The structure is thick.   It is 4.5" tall and 8" across the top. 

There is a chip on rim that doe not go too deep into the red clay that can probably be repaired and painted over.  Other than that is is a gorgeous piece or rare pottery.
