Great example of Viennese Secession (Arts & Crafts) breakfront influenced by Biedermeir style!!! High quality construction in walnut marquetry with geometrical Mother of Pearl inlays, black marble top and original brass/bronze hardware. The base is lined with decorative hammered bronze/brass trim. Upper doors have ebonized trim and beveled glass. This breakfront is in very good original condition ("French polish finish), with no restoration. Purchased in Austria, att. Dimension : 84" H x 63" W x 24"D, Austria circa 1880-1900. Buyer to pick up at our location or arrange for shipping. Available for personal inspection, we are located a hour drive north of Chicago. Pickup is STRONGLY recommended due to its weight and size, but if pickup is impossible then buyer must arrange for freight / shipping.
