Antique English, Victorian, Sterling Silver 2 Handled Bowl. The Entire Body Is Beautifully Hand Chased With The Exception Of A Blank Cartouche On One Side. The Round Pedestal Foot Is Hand Chased To Match, And The Cast Scroll Handles Are Topped By A Winged Nautical Style Mythologigal Figure. The Rim Of The Bowl Is Shaped With A Hand Pierced Decoration, And Centered On Each Side By A Medallion Style Head. Made By The London Silversmiths James Wakely & Frank Clarke Wheeler, Succesors To Lias Brothers Silversmiths From Early 1800's, And Predecessor Of Wakely & Wheeler
