Three tier Victorian wooden pencil box, with pivoting action to the two top tiers. The lid has old transfers of Landseer prints showing dogs in various humorous situations. Inside the box are lots of vintage metal dip-pen nibs, dip-pen bodies, and a few slate pencils. Underneath the box a lid slides aside to reveal the third tier. The lid here has the owners name handwritten - E.C. Fulton. There are other faint names also. Box has a keyed lock, but there is no key. Measurements: 24 cm long, 5 cm wide and 5.5 cm high (9.1/4 inches by 2 inches by 2.1/4 inches). Very good condition.
