This is a rare antique carved genuine amethyst miniature perfume or scent bottle ( I guarantee this is an antique ) that measures only 1" tall ! You can see the different variations of the amethyst and in that same stone is a red stone that came from the same piece of rock. I was told the red was rare and it is the the most prized color because it is an intense violet with red flashes and is called "Siberian," This is carved by hand. The stopper is a carved flower. The stopper sits on top ok but I could probably be filed down a bit to fit better by a jeweler or a lapidary person. Probably cost less than $5.00. This is very adorable and one of the tiniest I have ever seen. Could easily be used in a doll house because it is so tiny. BUT it is for a real woman in the Victorian times.Since this is an Irreplaceable work of art there can be no returns on this sale.
