You are viewing a gorgeous English Victorian style chest on chest with brass mounts. Hand crafted from the finest mahogany, this piece is the ultimate in storage. There are 8 drawers to this piece so you can store more than your share of socks, knickers, boxer shorts, t shirts - whatever! If you are a couple maybe one could have the top and the other the bottom. This has just benefitted from a trip to the restorers where it had a repolish which really emphasised the lovely deep veneer to the mahogany. Its a sumptuous, rich red brown and you can still smell the linger of polish...hhmmmmm. The levels of craftmanship that goes into something like this is breathtaking, especially the hand carved top pediment with the lovely scrolling relief work and the two classical doric columns to either side with brass base and tops. It's simply majestic. It is offered in perfect condition and is ready for home use right away and will last you for generations to come.
