This beautifully hand painted punch bowl set consists of an under plate, 9 cups, large bowl with lid and a ladle. The cups and bowl have an amethyst color along the tops fading to clear. The hand painted flowers and leaves are exquisite. All the rims are edged in gold with some loss. Even the punch bowl lid is highly decorated. The bowl measures 9" across and is 9" tall without the lid. There is a minor flake on the inside rim of the bowl. The exquisitely painted flowers have rich mauve to pale pink colors and the leaves are shades of blue to deep green to pale green. Their condition is excellent. The ladle is original and also is in excellent condition. How unique to find such a large punch bowl set.
