This is another present my Dad gave to my Mom about 60 years ago. He bought it at the antique jewelry in New York City that I've mentioned on other pieces. I had a jeweler look at it and she told me this piece was probably repurposed in the Victorian Period. She said the "Razor" bar pin was very popular in the Victorian Era but believes the diamond and pearl part belonged to another piece of jewelry. She believes it could have been a stick pin from a deceased relative. She said this was very common then. It has no marks visible but due to it's age they have worn off. It tested as 14K. There is a lustrous pearl with 6 small diamonds. It is 1 3/4" wide and weighs 3.5 grams. This is a wonderful collector's piece.
