Tapered ebony shaft with chip-carved decoration at throat and lower end; brass base ferrule and rubber tip. Grip of ebony and carved ivory with geometric and floral design; brass lion face pommel. Single-edged 23 3/4" blade with narrow fuller and engraved floral design on one side. Checkered brass ferrule twists to lock and unlock the blade in the shaft. Overall length 37 1/4". Likely dates to the late Victorian Era.
