It’s not often you find an Eastlake Victorian fainting couch which is all original – even its upholstery and in such remarkable condition! The fancy solid walnut frame is highlighted with ebonizing and intricate gold incised carvings. The original cut velvet fabric has a dramatic design in shades of gold, black and red. The fabric is in excellent condition showing only minimum wear. The frame is tight and the finish is in excellent condition. The fainting couch rests on its original brass casters.
