Table Vesta match holder/striker (for Vesta wax matches). Victorian late 19th century frosted pressed glass. Poodle dog with little hat, one paw resting on the match holder, which is a drum. You strike the match on the cords of the drum. Measures 18 cm high by 15.25 cm by 10 cm (7 inches by 6 inches by 4 inches). It has a shallow chip just where his paw rests, otherwise excellent condition.
