A late 19th century Victorian period 21 piece china tea set, consisting of 2 cake plates, a cream jug, and 6 cups, 6 saucer and 6 side plates. The pattern is a pretty transfer print floral spray, on a white ground with blushes of peach to the edgings, and spattered gold on the handles and rims. The body is shaped and moulded with lobes and scallops in typical Victorian fashion. There is no makers mark on this set, except a hand applied marks, such as the gilders marks. It would be English and probably Staffordshire. In good condition except that one cake plate is showing a hairline to the centre, and one saucer is showing also a hairline to the centre.
