This lovely Victorian baby buggy has exceptional detailing. There is an adjustable canopy, which is attached with a fancy iron frame. The frame allows you to move the canopy in 3 different positions to keep the rain or sun at bay. One of the iron frames is loose. This is only noticeable when the canopy is fully raised resulting it to lean a little to one side. The carriage seat is deeply tufted and in front is where the child's feet rest. Notice the delicately cast iron angel railing in the front of the footrest - very sweet. The carriage rides on its 4 original wooden wheels. Behind the child's seat is a turned walnut handle for pushing. Notice the pin striping and delicately painted décor throughout the frame. The carriage frame and finish is in excellent condition.
