A distinctive pair of Victorian 14k yellow gold and elk's teeth cufflinks, c. 1880. Jewelry constructed of animal parts such as tiger's claws, boar's teeth, etc., was popular during the Victorian era. Pieces with elk's teeth were especially popular with members of the Order of Elks. These cufflinks measure 1" x 1/2" and are marked 14k. They have bean backs and are monogrammed (looks like JJW).
