Vernon Kilns Designer Series Plate The Village Wonderful plate showing a scene right out of old England. Plate features a horse drawn coach stopped in front of a pub called The Black Pelican with a woman standing outside. There are old village style buildings on each side of the street. Plate has off white background with a reddish maroon trim. Scene is sketched style with earth tone colors. Back stamp reads Bits of Old England by Vernon Kilns No. 4. Mint condition. Measures approximately 8 1/2 inches.
