"Venus" pattern bowl, made by Wedgwood & Company, from 1849-59. Blue transfer on white. Measures 6"d x 1.25"h. Has a slightly thinner body than the ones previously made by Podmore, Walker & Co. of Staffordshire, England. There are some minor differences in the pattern as well. Good condition with some surface wear and crazing, one small stain above the men's heads as shown. Sold as is. Inglenook Antiques...Established 1989.
