This unique and senuous cylindrical glass vase was made by
Fulvio Bianconi (1915-1996) for
Venini & Co. in 1994. Excellent condition with no chips, cracks, scratches or restorations. Measures 10.5" x 4.75" x 4.75" and weighs 2 lbs 4 oz. (1.0 kg). It has a translucent yellow color with luscious, dark red lips accented with opaque white glass. Engraved " Venini 94 Fulvio Bianconi " on underside. Original clear Venini & Co. label on side.

A Bianconi vase in the same design (in green) was sold for $2,640 (including buyer's premium) in the Gianni Versace Collection auction at Sotheby's New York on May 21, 2005 in lot 117. This is the only auction result we're aware of for this particular design by Bianconi.
