This velvet purse is from the early 1900's. It is made of black velvet with a fringe bottom. The inside is a tan fabric that is intact but has some soiling from usage. The frame and closure is a metal hinge with a clasp. The velvet has wear at the pionts where it rubs against the metal frame and hinges. The metal frame has some tarnishing. The cord is a brown and black color also with fringe tassles.
