This vase in the "Pine Cone" pattern was made in 1948 as part of the "Wincraft" line. "Wincraft"-- a gloss glazed product -- was introduced during the waning years of the company in the hope that it would boost sagging sales. Many of the older patterns, such as "Pine Cone," were incorporated into the new line. Unfortunately, replacement of the traditional matt glaze did not produce the success hoped for. This particular vase is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, repairs, or other evidence of damage or wear.
