Van Heusen Shirts And Barber Pole Ad 1948 This is a June 1948 advertisement. It is a nice color ad from Phillips Jones Corp of NY, makers of Van Heusen Shirts. Ad shows a man standing, straightening his tie. In the foreground is a barber pole. Ad shows three striped shirts folded, with ties, and sticking out of shaving mugs. Ad reads, freshen up in stripes. In excellent condition. Photo is taken through plastic and may show wrinkles or crookedness that is not in the ad. This original magazine tear sheet measures 9 1/2 inches wide by 13 inches tall.
